The hardest parts of raising kids that no one really talks about.

Attachment

Parenting isn’t just about the sweet moments and milestones—it also comes with quiet struggles that many parents go through but rarely talk about. From emotional exhaustion to feeling unseen, these challenges are more common than we think.

Share your honest experiences or the hardest parts of parenting you’ve faced—your story might help another parent feel seen and understood.

Maybe it’s the fact that nobody understands what you’re really going through aside from yourself.

Going through the first month after giving birth feels like a different body, a different me. A life that I’ve never known. While everybody expects you to heal and stay composed as a mom, I think no one fully understands the shock and pressure. And the hardest part of it was you just dealt with it yourself while discovering things along the way.

I experienced late nights with a blank and lost mind. But then, I looked at my newborn and in just a snap, I knew every hardship will be worth it.

You may be lost at some point, but you’ll learn how to pick yourself up. I guess that’s a superpower moms have ❤️

maybe not the hardest part but still hard: Raising a child in a world you no longer understand, a world that's evolving at a rate you can't keep up with. How can we teach our kids about bullying when they're dealing with cyberbullying, something we didn't have to deal with when we were their age? How do we protect them from online exploitation in the age of the internet and social media? The world to them—where gender is fluid, where information is infinite, and where algorithms create insecurity and division—is very different from the world we grew up with. And trying to understand our kids from their world view isn't always easy, but of course, it's something we need to at least try to achieve.
