Dating as a parent can feel daunting, but remember that it's okay to prioritize your own happiness alongside your children's needs. Taking the time to nurture your own relationships can model healthy love and respect for your kids. Just be open, honest, and take things at a pace that feels right for you and your family.

Hi, Catha. I find this really challenging. Would love to hear how other moms and dads manage!
I used to watch shows of stand-up comedians, until I realized, burnout after burnout, that I had to BE a stand-up comedienne to feel continously fired up about life. It definitely keeps my happy hormones healthy.
Burnouts really take a toll on our health. I really take time on having a mom day-off as I call it. I treat myself to a relaxing day. It’s really important to really take care of ourselves and do something we really want once in a while.
It is not considered selfish to give time for yourself. Remember, you can not pour from an empty cup 🙂
