Leave or Stay in the Philippines?

Both my sisters no longer live in the Philippines, and my brother is also considering moving abroad.

The everyday traffic, flooding, and frequent suspension of classes can be incredibly frustrating. What makes it even harder is the feeling that these problems have become so normal, yet we seem so powerless to change them. Sometimes, it’s not just the traffic or the floods that make you want to leave. It’s the feeling of hopelessness that comes with wondering whether things will ever get better.

I feel you. It's frustrating given what has become the so-called "normal." Every time people call for accountability, it falls on deaf ears. But we cannot let them win. We start by doing what we can in communities. But when 2028 strikes, then it's a chance for us to vote for who we believe in and do it right.
