How do you balance being a parent and still being a partner?

After becoming parents, it’s easy to focus all your energy on the kids and forget your relationship as partners. But small efforts like checking in with each other, having honest conversations, planning simple date moments, or even sharing daily responsibilities can help keep the connection strong.

Share your experiences, routines, or tips on balancing being a parent and still being a partner—your story might help another couple strengthen their relationship.

Archie Carrasco I find that date night actually helps! We always make it a point to have a nice dinner out and listen to live music.

As simple as small talks after dinner, watching movies (or working together) while kids are asleep on top of the date nights helped us! We realized after having a baby that this is very important

We always try to insert time together especially when the baby is asleep. We do chores together! At night, we do bible study together. It’s really important for us to have our heart-to-heart talks at night before sleeping. It makes our connection stronger even if we’re both busy with our daytime duties.
