Regularization of media workers

Hindi na ito bago but dahil may bago na naman nagkasakit na nagtratrabaho sa media, ang questions is kung worth pa ba mag-work sa media when some of them are considered contractual employees, meaning no benefits. Paano pag nagkasakit sila?
