How AVA the Brand Is Helping Moms Feel Confident and Stylish Again
Style has become more than aesthetics for modern moms—it can also be a form of self-expression and empowerment
For busy moms, dressing up can be fun and challenging. Moms need pieces that transition seamlessly from day to night — stylish yet functional enough to keep up with their busy lives.
AVA the Brand has quickly become a go-to label for modern moms. Their collaboration with Camille Co-Koro back in 2023 was a hit. Now, this 2025, they’ve teamed up again with Camille in a collection described as “of the ever-evolving journey of womanhood.”
What Makes the AVA x Camille 2025 Collection Different
Back in 2023, the first collection with Camille Co-Koro was all timeless classics that were effortlessly wearable, day or night, dressed up or down. It was so well-received, they had to do it again.
In an exclusive interview with Modern Parenting, Aina Reyes de Castro, one of AVA the Brand’s founders, shared why they decided to work with Camille once again.
“Camille is very talented. She has an eye for style and design and knows the women’s body well,” Aina said. “Our direction was simple: create pieces that women can wear through different life stages with style, function, fit, and comfort in mind.”
A mom herself, Aina says that the brand’s pieces should cater to every woman’s needs.
“I realized the importance of dressing well, not just for others but to make myself feel somewhat put together despite only having very few minutes to myself,” she expressed. “This is where AVA x Camille comes in because the pieces we designed had busy but confident, empowered, and multifaceted women come to play.”
“These pieces were made to fit whatever life stage you are in, easy day to night pieces, and less crinkly because we know you don’t have the luxury of time to have to worry about your clothes.”
The 14-piece collection consists of dresses, jumpsuits, twin sets, and tops in classic colors, which can be dressed up or down.
The collection also has a mommy and me set, something both Aina and Camille can relate to.
“We wanted the collection to celebrate the many endeavors we take, and including a Mommy and Me set felt like the perfect way to bring that vision to life, being that we’re both moms of two girls, too.”
How AVA the Brand Went From Athletic Wear to Mom-First Fashion
Before AVA the Brand became synonymous with its collaborations, it started as an athletic brand in 2017.
“With almost 40 years of apparel manufacturing background, it was intuitive to and somewhat natural to venture into retail with our very own label, AVA The Brand,” she said. “With the support of our dedicated team of in-house designers and craftspeople, unwavering support of our co-founder (our mom) and family, we made launching AVA The Brand possible.”

What Motherhood Taught AVA’s Co-Founder About Dressing Well
As a working mom of two, Aina reflects on motherhood today: “My biggest realization is that your heart doubles and not divides. Your time stays the same, but the people needing you double. Don’t sweat the small stuff — you’ve got this.”
Like many moms, Aina believes in the importance of community — a support system that keeps mothers grounded and uplifted. “I wouldn’t have survived motherhood (especially with my firstborn) without my mommy community. They’re the ones who support you, understand you, and give you real-time advice.”
Just like motherhood itself, the AVA the Brand x Camille Co-Koro collaboration is built on teamwork, understanding, and love — a collection designed not just to make women look good, but to remind them that style and strength go hand in hand, every step of the way.
